Sandusky Central Catholic Seeks Superintendent:

Sandusky Central Catholic School, a Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12 school is seeking a faith-filled, charismatic, goal-oriented visionary person for the position of Superintendent.

Sandusky Central Catholic School is comprised of a three-parish pre-school, elementary school, and high school ministering to 800 students in a six year old unified model. The successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic, having attained an MA in education administration, possess experience in multiple levels of education including elementary and high school, and hold an Ohio certification or equivalent.

Registration process is taking place.  Registration fee is $150 per student.  Registration closes on May 2nd.  Please return your registration materials and the FACTS tuition assistance forms if you are going to apply.  Any questions, please contact the Finance Office at 419-626-1892.

Two major fundraisers, Fall Catalog and Easter Candy are every family's responsibility. These profit dollars are in the current budget and is a direct tuition reduction. Please close your account. We all have to help!

  • Please support the Annual fund requests that you received in the SCCS Annual Report. We depend upon you to help our students through tuition support. Your gift, large or small, makes a big difference to our Catholic School!

We are now accepting registrations for 3 and 4 year olds and Kindergarten Readiness classes for the 2008-2009 school year.  Daycare registrations are also being accepted.

St. Mary Central Catholic High School News ...

 

You can stay connected to Sandusky Central Catholic School by adopting a student to sponsor. Families are in need of financial support to continue/begin the Catholic education of their child (ren). If you would be interested in supporting a child for one year, several years, or throughout their school years, please meet with one of our development and marketing personnel.

Softball, baseball, track, and tennis action is happening at this time. Our home softball and baseball games are played at Dorn Park, our home track meets are held at Strobel Field, and our home tennis matches are at Battery Park. Please support our athletes in a positive fashion. The Boy’s teams are in first place for the SBC All Sports Award. A strong spring sports season could bring this prized award back to SMCC.

Our Senior students will be out in the community completing their Senior Projects over the next two weeks. (May 12-23)

Graduation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008. Baccalaureate will be at 1:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Church with Commencement at 3:30 p.m. at State Theater.

There is no school on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2008.

The students last day of school is on Thursday, June 5, 2008.

A reminder that the grades from the final nine week grading period are used to determine eligibility for our fall sports programs.
