The purpose of a Student Council is to provide a forum for student expression to provide orderly direction of student activities, to charter school clubs and organizations, to provide general welfare of the school, and to develop the attitude of, and practice in, good citizenship. This group consists of a president, vicepresident, secretary, and treasurer of Student Council, the four officers of each student class, and the presidents of the recognized school clubs/organizations, or their qualified designates. This is the administrative student branch of SMCC.
